Laparoscopic Pyeloplasty is the surgical reconstruction of the Renal pelvis (a funnel-like part of the ureter in the kidney) to relieve pressure created by a narrowing in this structure. This obstruction causes the kidney to enlarge and not function correctly. The surgeon will make 4 abdominal incisions and has been proven better than other techniques.
